Wilmer Valderrama to Star in Re-Imagined ZORRO Series at Disney
Disney Branded Television and Wilmer Valderrama are in development on a reinvention of the iconic Disney action-adventure-western series 'Zorro,' with Valderrama executive producing and starring as Don Diego de la Vega and his dashing swashbuckling alter ego, the masked horseman named Zorro.

Zorro The Musical reveals a first look at the cast in action as rehearsal images for the new immersive production are released today. The production features music by The Gipsy Kings and the evening will start with live entertainment and a Flamenco party in the foyer of Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre before the story continues in the auditorium itself, bringing the legendary adventure of the masked hero to life. Zorro the Musical is directed by Christian Durham and runs from 14 March – 18 April 2020, with opening night on 18 March.

The show will be brought to life by a cast including Antony Costa as Garcia, Alex Gibson-Giorgio as Ramon, Emma Kingston as Luisa, Genevieve Nicole as Inez, Kit Orton as Don Alejandro and Benjamin Purkiss as the masked hero, Zorro. The cast is completed by Ajjaz Awad, Amy Bastani, Isobel Bates, Ben Boskovic, Maxwell Griffin, Matthew Heywood, Jessica Pardoe, Thomas Ping, Seren Sandham-Davies and Stylianos Thomadakis.

Theatre Bay Area Announces 2018 Glickman Award
Theatre Bay Area is pleased to announce playwright Ofra Daniel and the Jewish Circle Theatre have been selected as the recipients of this year's prestigious Will Glickman Award for Love Sick. The play's world premiere, produced by Jewish Circle Theatre in association with John Gertz Productions, ran at the Osher Studio in Berkeley from January 12 through February 12, 2017, and then at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts February 23 to March 19, 2017. This is the first Will Glickman Award for both Ofra Daniel and Jewish Circle Theatre.
