Broadway's Peggy Lee Brennan (Grease) and TikTok's Alex Corallo and Austin Michael (Mama Mia) hit the stage November 4th for the Off Broadway premiere of Mike & Mindy's Wild Weekend Jam at the Players Theatre (115 MacDougal Street - Between West 3rd and Bleecker Streets).

BWW Review: CABARET Dazzles at Texas State
CABARET is a 1966 musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Joe Masteroff, based on John Van Druten's 1951 play I Am a Camera, which was adapted from the short novel Goodbye to Berlin (1939) by Christopher Isherwood. Set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, it focuses on the nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, and revolves around young American writer Cliff Bradshaw (John Fredrickson) and his relationship with English cabaret performer Sally Bowles (Logan-Rae). The musical was also made into a 1972 film.

DSM's High School Musical Theatre Award-winning Best Actor and Actress, John Fredrickson and Shelby Priddy, are off to New York City to compete in the 2017 National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA)! John and Shelby will participate in a week-long training intensive with Broadway industry professionals and faculty members of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, in preparation for their Broadway debut on Monday, June 26th at the Minskoff Theatre.
