Gold Child Releases Debut Album Today
Brooklyn-based musician and songwriter Gold Child is excited to announce the release of her self-titled debut album. Out today, Gold Child is the introductory, full-length showcase from Emily Fehler, a Berklee College of Music graduate and self-proclaimed student of country music's golden age. Fehler moved to New York City in 2012 after finishing her studies in Boston, and as she began the process of coming up for air in Brooklyn, she developed an obsession with the music made by the great troubadours of country music, namely the work of luminaries Patsy Cline and Emmylou Harris.

Streaming now on all digital platforms, the dreamy “Undertow” is a song about anxiety and how overwhelming it can be – making it feel like you're not in control – which is a theme that is tied in throughout the album. The song follows album tracks “In Between” and the stunning debut single, “Roses,” a track featured by Rolling Stone (“10 Best Country and Americana Songs To Hear Now”), NPR “New Music Friday” and Wide Open Country.
