Steve Conte (New York Dolls, Michael Monroe) Releases 'Fourth of July'
New York City guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Conte has released a new single, co-written with Andy Partridge (XTC) titled 'Fourth of July.' The song also features drummer Prairie Prince ( The Tubes & Todd Rundgren) who played on XTC’s classic album, 'Skylarking.' On bass is Steve's brother John Conte, with Andrew Hollander on piano.

Early Elton is a Tribute to the Elton John, Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson trio tours of 1970 - 1972 featuring Jeff Kazee of Southside Johnny And The Asbury Jukes (piano, vocals), Rich Pagano of The Fab Faux (drums and vocals) and John Conte of Southside Johnny And The Asbury Jukes (bass and vocals). With only two years since its inception, the Early Elton show is playing to capacity audiences in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut tri-state area and branches out into Pennsylvania with a performance at the State Theatre on Friday, November 10.

The Elm Shakespeare Company, a professional theatre company serving the greater New Haven community since 1995, has announced the selection of Rebecca Goodheart as its new Producing Director, replacing Founder and Artistic Director James Andreassi, and Managing Director Margaret Andreassi who are stepping down this Fall after 20 years of leadership. The selection was made after a national search and selection process, led by Transition Chair David Newton with Consultant John Conte.
