CompCord@40 Will Kick Off With An Album Release Party Next Month
On April 19th at Shapeshifter Lab, the 'CompCord @ 40' festival begins appropriately with an anniversary CD release party. The new compilation album 'CompCord @ 40,' featuring the music of more than twenty contemporary composers, as well as cover art by Graham Elliott (Living Colour), will be issued on the CCR label, distributed by Naxos.
Composers Concordance to Present GENE AND THE BRASS in December
On Friday, December 1st at 5:30pm, Composers Concordance will present a concert of brass music by composer Gene Pritsker and his friends. Joining Gene for this event are trumpeters Peter Oswald and Franz Hackl, John Clark on horn and Steve Swell on trombone.

LOVE LETTERS Returns To CVPA Ballroom For Valentine's Day Weekend
'Love Letters,' the timeless play by A.R. Gurney, will be presented for two dinner performances Saturday Feb. 12 in the ballroom at The Center for Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road in Munster, Ind. Directed by William Pullinsi, 'Love Letters' will star Philip Potempa, noted newspaper columnist for Chicago Tribune Media Co. opposite actress and comedienne Jeannie Rapstad.
