The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas, two of the world's most recognizable destination resorts, both owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS), have once again been honored with the prestigious Four Star Award from Forbes Travel Guide. This is the seventh year The Palazzo has been rated and the ninthconsecutive year for The Venetian. Four Star hotels are described as “outstanding establishments in a distinctive setting with expanded amenities and exceptional service to create a luxury experience.”

The Venetian Las Vegas and GOMM Productions, LLC have partnered to bring a special engagement - GEORGIA ON MY MIND: Celebrating the Music of Ray Charles - to The Venetian Theatre this fall. This groundbreaking new show will feature a host of esteemed stars including Emmy award-winner Clint Holmes, 10-time Grammy award-winning vocal group TAKE 6, six-time Grammy nominee and DownBeat Vocalist of the Year Nnenna Freelon, and Stella Gospel Award and Grammy award-winning saxophone star Kirk Whalum. The show also introduces the Las Vegas Mass Choir, under the direction of James R. Smith and Edie Aikels, and features the Las Vegas All-Star Big Band, under the direction of pianist and conductor, David Loeb. Venetian Las Vegas to Present First Female Comedy Series on the Strip
The Venetian Las Vegas has announced LIPSHTICK - THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP, a newly branded resident comedy series that marks the first time in the storied entertainment history of Las Vegas that the comedy stage will be taken exclusively by female performers. The new series will debut July 11 with appearances by daytime television personality Wendy Williams and will bring regular stand-up comedy performances to The Sands Showroom from an opening slate of 14 critically acclaimed comediennes.

PANDA!, the first-ever Chinese produced show to take up a Las Vegas residency, celebrated its 100th show Tuesday, May 6, at The Palazzo® Las Vegas. Audience members who packed the house at The Palazzo Theatre were invited to sign their names on a commemorative banner on their way into the show. John Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo, and Sands Expo, and Elizabeth Hansen, director of Asian leisure sales and marketing, were on hand to present the creative principals and cast with a specially designed cake from The Venetian and The Palazzo's pastry team in honor of the 100th performance.

The Venetian and The Palazzo welcomed the Year of the Horse on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 with a traditional lion and dragon dance. Mr. Sheldon Adelson, chairman and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, along with his wife, Dr. Miriam Adelson were in attendance to paint the eyes of the dragon and bring it to life, kicking off Chinese New Year 2014. For the first time since its inception, the 59th General Assembly of French Master Chefs - "Maitres Cuisiners de France" - will bring their worldwide meetings to the United States, March 5-9, 2014.
