Playwrights Horizons Postpones TAMBO & BONES by One Week, Adds Booster Shot Requirement

Playwrights Horizons, responding to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant in New York City, has announced a one-week delay of the start of Dave Harris’ Tambo & Bones, from January 12 to January 19, and a requirement that all audience members receive booster shots in advance of attending.
Casting Announced for the World Premiere of TAMBO & BONES

Playwrights Horizons and Center Theatre Group will present Dave Harris’ Tambo & Bones, directed by Taylor Reynolds, January 12-February 20, 2022 (opening January 31) in Playwrights Horizons’ Mainstage Theater before being produced at Center Theatre Group’s Kirk Douglas Theatre, May 1 - 29, 2022 (opening May 8).

Due to popular demand and critical acclaim, Ars Nova extends the world premiere of Mrs. Murray's Menagerie to May 11. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, Mrs. Murray's Menagerie marks The Mad Ones' first production since their critically acclaimed play Miles For Mary and celebrates 10 years of "triumphantly original" and "skillfully acted" (New York Times) theater that is saturated with "precision, invention, and richness" (Time Out New York). The Mad Ones has been Ars Nova's Company-in-Residence since 2015, developing Mrs. Murray's Menagerie and Miles For Mary.

Water Damage Emergency Forces Ars Nova To Adjust Performance Schedule For RAGS PARKLAND SINGS THE SONGS OF THE FUTURE

Due to a water damage emergency, Ars Nova has been forced to adjust the performance schedule for the world premiere of Rags Parkland Sings The Songs Of The Future, which began previews on September 25. The opening has been moved to Monday, October 15 and a new closing date has been set for November 3. Performances on October 2-6 have been canceled to allow for necessary repairs. On September 29, a fire sprinkler activated and caused water damage to the set, theater, and basement.
