Nickelodeon Greenlights SIDE HUSTLE Starring Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels
Nickelodeon today announced the greenlight of Side Hustle, a brand-new live-action buddy comedy starring social media sensations and real-life best friends, Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels. The multi-camera series centers on best friends, Lex (LeBlanc) and Presley (Bartels), who have to create a business fast after inadvertently destroying their neighbor's car. Created and executive produced by Dave Malkoff (Henry Danger, Sam & Cat, Victorious) and shot in front of a live studio audience, Side Hustle (13 half-hour episodes) will begin production in Los Angeles this March and premiere later this year on Nickelodeon.

A Film Celebration of James Caan Opens 5/19
For two glittering weekends at the end of May, the world turns its attention to the movie event of the year: TheCaan Film Festival at Museum of the Moving Image. In celebration of the Bronx-born, Sunnyside-raised, and Sanford Meisner-instructed actor, the film series revisits twelve of James Caan's greatest performances, from May 19 through 28, with nearly all films presented in 35mm. The films feature performances for such great directors as Francis Ford Coppola, Howard Hawks, Michael Mann, Sam Peckinpah, Mark Rydell, Norman Jewison, Wes Anderson, and James Gray.

Soundstream to Welcome Sir James MacMillan to Toronto in March
Soundstreams continues its 2015/16 season this March with a visit from Scotland's most celebrated composer and conductor, Sir James MacMillan. The Music of James MacMillan on March 8 at Trinity-St. Paul's Centre features MacMillan conducting Choir 21 and the Virtuoso String Orchestra, and will include choral works by MacMillan, Canadian composers R. Murray Schafer and James Rolfe, and Norway's Knut Nystedt. Audiences across Ontario will also have the opportunity to experience this exceptional program at engagements in Kingston and Kitchener on March 4 and 6.
Matt Cardle Joins West End's MEMPHIS
Multi-platinum selling recording artist and songwriter Matt Cardle, who rose to fame winning the seventh series of ITVs The X Factor will join the cast of MEMPHIS THE MUSICAL in London, it is today announced. Cast and company of the award-winning 'Best Musical' at the Shaftesbury Theatre are delighted to welcome Matt who will star as radio DJ 'Huey Calhoun' from 6 July, taking over from Killian Donnelly who originated the role in the West End.
Atlantic Classical Orchestra to Perform Vero 25th Anniversary Celebration, 12/10
Hosted by The Vero Friends of the ACO, A 25th Anniversary Celebration will kick-off the Orchestra's 25th Concert Season in Vero Beach. Founded in 1990 by conductor laureate Andrew McMullan, the ACO baton was passed in 2004 to Grammy-nominated Maestro Stewart Robertson, who now leads the Orchestra with performances in three venues: the Waxlax Center in Vero Beach, the Lyric Theatre in Stuart, and the Eissey Campus Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens.
