John Anthony Torres

John Anthony Torres is a native New Yorker and honored to be a part of this project. JT has been performing since he was a child. He attended Juilliard as a young flautist, getting a chance to play alongside The New York Philharmonic by the age of 12. He graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, concentrating on acting. He recently wrapped his first feature film as Theodore in “Moments of Youth”, currently in post-production. JT recently appeared in a scene alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in HBOMAX’s Finale of “And Just Like That”. He made his stage debut as Josh in the NYC Premiere of I Carry Your Heart, at the 59E59Theaters. JT is known for his portrayal of Diego Pillco in TV show The Perfect Murder; as well as, known for his portrayal of Antonio in short film Meditation. He is the narrator of the audiobook The Waitress Was New. JT has worked alongside Spike Lee on Shes Gotta Have it Too; and others like Ryan Murphy and Janet Mock on Pose. He is the hand model for the Miller Beer Highlife Campaign. You might also recognize JT from the Best Buy National Portrait Campaign: from Web/Magazine Ads to billboards all over America; including a billboard in Times Square.
