Drummer Jason Heartless Heads Back on Tour with Ted Nugent
It was a hot summer night on July 19th, 2009, at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, when 14-year-old Jason Hartless stepped out on stage to kick off the opening night of Mötley Crüe's “Crüe Fest 2” Tour as the hired drummer for one of Motley Crue's supporting acts. Everything changed when the 14-year-old Jason Hartless received a call explaining that a band scheduled to tour on the Crue Fest 2 Tour needed a drummer to crisscross the United States until Labor Day weekend. Without hesitation Jason jumped at the opportunity. This was the summer that Jason was transitioning from junior high to high school, it would also be his first year of marching band camp and drumline. So the choice was go to band camp or tour all summer with Motley Crue. It was not a hard decision.

Voices of Extreme to Tour with Metal Legend and Singer Geoff Tate in North America
New York metal band, Voices of Extreme are in the midst of supporting legendary former Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate's The Whole Story Accoustic tour. The trek has performed to capacity crowds with upcoming shows in Nashville, New York and Pennsylvania. In addition to Voices of Extreme performing unplugged for the first time, the tour features Tate performing unplugged versions of hits spanning from his 35 year legendary career.
Hailing from New York, Voices of Extreme is a powerful metal ensemble led by vocalist and lead guitarist Don Chaffin (Red Lamb) with Steven G. Knight (Bellicose) on bass and Bobby Marks (Dokken, Eddie Money, Joe Lynn Turner) on Drums.
Long time collaborator and former Anthrax Guitarist Dan Spitz (and producer of the band's debut album Hypocrite) has described Voices of Extreme as: 'This powerful and crushing [trio] is reminiscent of nothing before, but does fall into the realm of Stone Sour, Shinedown meets Soundgarden with a slamming riff master twisting it to a completely new level of new guitar tones, sounds, tapestries and emotional rides.'
Chaffin and Spitz completed a 25-date Red Lamb tour in 2013 in support of the band's self-titled debut album, which was released in February 2012. The 12-song effort was co-produced by Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) and Spitz and was described in a press release as 'explosive hard rock, pop punk, alternative rock, with a taste of thrash.'
Voices of Extreme is slated to release their new E.P. in summer 2017 which will coincide with a tour in support of the Metal All Stars which in addition to Tate has previously featured Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society), David Ellefson (Megadeth), James Labrie (Dream Theater), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), among others in its previous all-star line ups.
