Porchlight Music Theatre Welcomes New Members To Its Board Of Directors
Award-winning Porchlight Music Theatre, currently presenting Cabaret, now extended through March 19 at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, has announced the election of four new members to its Board of Directors, Joshua R. Goderis, Joseph Higgins, Kenny Ingram and Amy Jaine Wielunski.

Porchlight Music Theatre was joined by nearly 200 people to launch its 28th season, honor the 2022 ICON Award recipient, one of Broadway’s foremost singing and dancing leading ladies, Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie, present The Luminary Award to Dan Ratner and The Genevieve and Daniel Ratner Foundation and raise funds for its artistic and educational programs. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of its London Premiere, Capital Stage continues its 10th Anniversary Season with THE HOMECOMING, by Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter. Winner of the 1967 Tony Award for Best Play, THE HOMECOMING exposes issues of sex and power and challenges the place of morals in family life. Capital Stage Associate Artist and prolific director Janis Stevens (THE REAL THING, HEDDA GABLER, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE, AMERICAN BUFFALO, FOOL FOR LOVE) directs. THE HOMECOMING will run from tonight, April 29 through May 31, with a Press Opening on Saturday May 2, 2015.

If 'Adam's Rib' and 'Moneyball' mated and begat a play, it might be 'Skybox,' a comedy of class warfare and the battle of the sexes that is set in the luxury box of a major league baseball park. The play, written by Walt Stepp and directed by Lissa Moira, is the successor to their collaboration on 'Siren's Heart: Norma Jean and Marilyn in Purgatory,' a play by Stepp which started at Theater for the New City and is now running Off-Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre. Theater for the New City Extends SKYBOX Through December 9
A one-week extension has been added for 'Skybox,' a new comedy by Walt Stepp and directed by Lissa Moira. The play's premiere run was originally scheduled for November 8 to December 2, 2012. After Hurricane Sandy struck, the opening was postponed to November 15 to accommodate production delays. Now the closing has been extended through December 9 to make up for lost performances. So the new production dates are November 15 to December 9 and critics are invited to all performances.
