Boston’s Independent Radio, WXRV/92.5 the River announced that popular dance funk band Ripe will headline the station’s 21st Annual Riverfest Music Festival on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12 Noon – 6:00 PM. Ryan Montbleau Band, Air Traffic Controller, and Steve Rondo join the lineup on the Broadway Boardwalk at Salisbury Beach.

LETTERS TO SALA tells the true story of Sala Kirschner. During World War II, Sala endured seven Nazi Labor Camps. Along the way, she corresponded with friends and family, and saved every letter. Her letters kept hidden for fifty years. At 67, Sala finally shared the story with her daughter. Her letters are on display at the NY Public Library.

Jerry Garcia Foundation Launches New Independent Music Label: Only Love Records
The Jerry Garcia Foundation launched its Only Love Records music label in a collaborative project with Seven Seas Music to benefit the American Himalayan Foundation. The label's first album titled, Annapurna's Song, Music of the Himalayas is a unique selection of music by a variety of artists from the Himalayan region. The compilation album, includes 'Clouds,' a Sanjay Mishra composition featuring the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia on guitar.
2GV: Celebrating Founding-family Wineries in the Willamette Valley Debut Cuvée Scheduled for Release and Seminars Planned
Three of Oregon's flagship, family-run wineries have banded together to create Second Generation Vintners' Oregon Originals Pinot Noir Cuvée - '2GV' for short. The 2017 debut vintage is a collective effort on the part of second-generation siblings now in charge at Elk Cove Vineyards (Adam and Anna Campbell), Ponzi Vineyards (Anna Maria and Luisa Ponzi) and Sokol Blosser Winery (Alex and Alison Sokol Blosser). 2GV, with an SRP of $100 and scheduled for release in late March, is the result of fruit sourced from all three.
