BIO

Joanne Camp is a recent transplant to Albuquerque from New York City, where she pursued a professional acting career. Joanne’s credits include Broadway: Dinner at Eight, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, The Sisters Rosensweig, The Heidi Chronicles (Drama Desk & Tony Award nominations), and Coastal Disturbances. Off-Broadway: Geniuses (Clarence Derwent & Theatre World Awards), Painting Churches, As It Is In Heaven, Lips Together, Teeth Apart; and Ms. Camp was 25-year member of The Pearl Theatre Company where she performed in over 50 classical productions from Aeschylus to Hellman. Her work at The Pearl has been recognized with an Obie Award for Continued Excellence and a Joseph A Callaway Award for Classical Performance. Film/TV: Private Parts, Law & Order, Damages, The Luckiest Man in the World, and Canterbury’s Law. Most recently, Joanne was seen onstage as Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf at Santa Fe University, and at Albuquerque’s FUSION Theatre in August: Osage County, The Mandrake & First Love, and in the independent feature film, “Warrior Woman” with Julie Reichert directing. She is currently appearing in FUSION production of Jon Robin Baitz’ Other Desert Cities.

Seth Rudetsky Kicks off 'Plays in the House' Today With THE HEIDI CHRONICLES, Starring Cynthia Nixon, Joan Allen, Peter Friedman, and More!

The Actors Fund announced today that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, will also produce and host Plays in the House as part of its weekly lineup of Stars in the House, a daily online show at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET.
