In this a?oekid's guide to being a kid,a?? both children and adults will laugh along to comical numbers such as How to Torture Your Sister, How to Beg for a Dog, How to Understand Your Parents, How to Stay Home from School and many more. TADA! was the first company to stage this musical in 1984 without any adult actors, and it went on to be produced as a TV special starring Dick Van Dyke in 1991. TADA! Youth Theater Presents THE DANGEROUS CHRISTMAS OF RED RIDING HOOD
The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood was written in the 1960s, and the young actors from TADA! Youth Theater will take to the stage post-performances on November 30th and December 6th to focus on why it is important to do this show now, how it relates to modern culture, and what we can learn by hearing the Wolf's side of the story in this classic tale. Director Janine Nina Trevens and Choreographer Joanna Garcia will also participate in the Q&A.

The Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood is a hilarious take on the Red Riding Hood story told from the Wolf's point of view, book by Robert Emmett, lyrics by Bob Merrill and music by Jule Styne. TADA! was the first company to perform this musical on stage. It was originally produced as a TV special in 1965 featuring Liza Minnelli, Cyril Richard and Vic Damone. Performances run from November 23 through December 15, 2019. The production will be directed by Janine Nina Trevens, TADA!'s Founder and Producing Artistic Director, and choreographed by Joanna Greer, TADA!'s Associate Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer.

A tribute to the classic Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland film musicals of the 1930s and 40s, Golly Gee Whiz! takes place in an American town, Happyville, during the Great Depression. Happyville's residents are unmotivated and bored. Eager to make a change, a group of local children band together with the help of Mickey and Judy to put on a great show and re-establish Happyville as the bustling, optimistic town that it once was. Golly Gee Whiz! is a musical about the power and influence that young children can have even in times of hardship.
