The Fifth Annual Stage It! Ten-Minute Play Festival will be held May 14-16, at the Performing Arts Center, Moe Auditorium & Film Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Road. All tickets $25. There are twenty winning plays that will be published in Volume 5 of the Stage It! Ten-Minute Plays series.

Santa Cruz County Actors' Theatre celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the 8 Tens @ 8 Short Play Festival, January 10 through February 9, 2020, at the Center Stage Theater in downtown Santa Cruz.
The annual ten-minute play festival is one of the most anticipated and popular events of the theatre season in Santa Cruz. The festival stages sixteen award-winning plays from the 2019 international playwriting contest, shown in repertoire over the five-week festival.

Christian Rodrigo first professional theater project was as an Assistant Director of John Malkovich in 2003 and 2004 when he directed the play Hysteria in Barcelona and Madrid. The Spanish actor, producer, director and member of The Actors' Gang credits include Snatch (Season 2), No Way Out, Wings and Stevie. Perhaps his most noteworthy artistic creation is The BRISK FESTIVAL, which he created in Los Angeles in 2018 as an international theater Festival that features short plays up to 10 min long, giving all involved the opportunity to experience what makes live theater so special, namely the human interaction between the players on stage and between actors and audience members.

Actors Co-op Theatre Company (Ovation Award-Winner 2017 Best Play, Intimate Theatre for 33 Variations) is proud to present the 1962 Tony Award-winner for Best Play, Robert Bolt's A Man for All Seasons, directed by Thom Babbes, produced by Carly Lopez. This tragic historical drama offers a brilliant portrait of Sir Thomas More in his last years as Lord Chancellor of England during the reign of Henry VIII. A Man for All Seasons opens tonight, Friday, March 2 at 8:00 pm, and will run through Sunday, April 15 at the Actors Co-op David Schall Theatre, 1760 N. Gower Street, 90028 (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

Thom Babbes credits at Actors Co-op include Summer and Smoke, Ah, Wilderness (Best Director/StageSceneLA), The Miracle Worker and Wait Until Dark. He has directed workshop productions of new works, Dietrich (based on Dietrich Bonhoeffer) by John Martins III, The Real Real Thing by Frank Higgins and Washington Irvine's Sketchbook by Frank Higgins and Southhamton County (based on Nat Turner's slave rebellion) which Mr. Babbes wrote. Other credits: Sun City by Jim Geoghan at Stella Adler Theater, Hollywood. A writer as well, Mr. Babbes recently adapted William Saroyan's novel The Human Comedy for the stage. T. Schreiber Theatre to Stage Jim Geoghan's HYSTERICAL
T. Schreiber Theatre of Chelsea Manhattan has announced dates for the final production of their 46th season, 'Hysterical', by Jim Geoghan. Written by the EMMY-nominated Executive Producer for The Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, 'Hysterical' was chosen out of nearly 100 full-length plays as T. Schreiber's 2016 New Works Project. The play will receive a workshop production with 8 performances July 13-23, 2016, with free stand-up comedy preceding the following dates: July 15, 16, 22, & 23.
