Jen Fellman to Make her Beach Cafe Debut
Vocal powerhouse, Jen Fellman makes her Beach Café debut on Friday, March 20th, 2020 with songs from her first solo album, Forbidden Drive. Fellman's album, produced by Grammy nominee and 8-time Emmy winner Michael Croiter, released by Broadway Records last fall, includes songs from the worlds of jazz, standards, musical theatre and French chanson.
Resident Artists Announced For The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program
1812 Productions is pleased to announce the residents of the 2019 Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program. The summer residencies provide essential time and space for artists to continue development of original solo works. This year, 1812 Productions and the Advisory Board of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program are pleased to award residencies to Brett Robinson, Jessica Johnson, TS Hawkins, and Gwendolyn Rice. The summer residencies will take place from Saturday, July 6th through Sunday, July 14th at 1812 Productions' rehearsal studio in South Philadelphia.
Submissions Open For The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program
Submissions are being accepted for The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program at 1812 Productions. Now in its 14th year, The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program supports female solo artists with week-long residencies and small grant awards. The Program was founded in 2005 in honor of beloved Philadelphia theatre performer Jilline Ringle. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 17th.
Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program Announces 2018 Residents And Grant Recipients
Each year, as a part of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program, 1812 Productions hosts residencies for three female solo artists, providing them with essential time and space to continue development of original solo works. This year, 1812 Productions and the Advisory Board of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program are pleased to award residencies to Folaranmi Afolayan, Pratima Agrawal, and Alexandra Tatarsky. The summer residencies will take place from Monday, July 9th through Sunday, July 15st.

1812 Productions has extended the deadline for submissions to The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program to Friday, May 18th, 2018. Now in its 12th year, The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program is dedicated to supporting the creation, development and production of work by female solo artists across a variety of disciplines-theater, performance art and cabaret.
Philadelphia Theater Maker Lee Minora In Residency At The Wilma Theater
The Wilma Theater is excited to announce Lee Minora in Residency in the latter half of its 2017-18 Season. A solo artist, comedian and current teaching artist at the Wilma, Minora will develop her second solo show White Feminist as a part of the three-month long residency. With White Feminist, Minora is exposing the ugly truth behind respectability politics, "leaning in', and self-serving feminist hypocrisy done all wrong. White Feminist will have its first public showing at the Wilma Theater as a part of the HotHouse Crush Series on March 24th, under the direction of Alice York, co-artistic director of Lightning Rod Special.

1812 Productions Presents JillineFest in Support of The Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program
1812 Productions is pleased to begin its 20th anniversary season with JillineFest, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program. JillineFest is a week-long showcase of original works by female solo artists who are past residents of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Program. JillineFest will also feature opening and closing cabaret events starring many artists who were both friends and stage-partners of Ms. Ringle.
