The School Of American Ballet will invite alumni to join them, toasting SAB's milestone 90th Anniversary and presenting the first-ever Alumni of Distinction Awards at SAB's Alumni cocktail reception on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 7pm.

New Musical NICKY AND THE ANGELS Announced At The Whitefire Theater

After a sold-out run at the 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival, the new musical “Nicky and the Angels” will play six Sunday night performances at the Whitefire Theater in Sherman Oaks, at 7:00 P.M. April 14 – May 19, 2024.

Since joining the permanent faculty in 1972, Suki has touched the lives of countless young dancers, imparting her wisdom and singular understanding of Balanchine's teaching and aesthetic to generations of students. The School will honor Suki at its 2022 Workshop Performances.

The Kansas City Ballet Announces New Artistic Staff and Company Members

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the appointment of three new members of the artistic staff: Grace Holmes as the new Director of Kansas City Ballet School, Kristi Capps as the new Ballet Master and Anthony Krutzkamp as newly created position of Manager of KCB II. Carney also announced eleven new members of the Company, increasing the Company from 28 to 29 members for the 2014-2015 season. He also announced the appointment of four new KCB II dancers, which stands at six members. Carney also announced the creation of a Trainee Program with five students, two selected from Kansas City Ballet School.
