Factory Theater Presents THE ADVENTURES OF SPIRIT FORCE FIVE
The Factory Theater presents the world premiere of The Adventures of Spirit Force Five, playing June 29 - August 11 at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. The new play is written by Jill Oliver and directed by Spenser Davis. Previews are Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.

Cast Announced for Wayward Productions' THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS
Wayward Productions is pleased to announce complete casting for the May 20th opening of Sean O'Casey's The Plough and the Stars. Wayward ensemble members Jill Oliver and Megan See (Burn the Black Dog) return, along with newest ensemble member Laura Reitsma (The Living Room at Stage 773) in Wayward's first production of 2016. Eric Loughlin, Tony Jaksha and Jasonn Rose (Burn the Black Dog), are joined by Christopher Marcum (Richard III) and Riso Straley (Bonfire, Space Fight) in returning to the Wayward stage. Wayward is joined for the first time by Allison Cain (Lifeline Theatre), Angie Martinez and Johnny Moran (Factory Theater). Rounding out Wayard's first-time cast members are Joel Reitsma, Stella Rothenberg, Beau Forbes and Nikki Greenlee.

Thirst comes in many flavors. Some men thirst for power and the taste is so strong they cannot see or hear reason for the want of it. Some thirst for revenge and the urge is so primal that weapons are soon wet with blood. Others just plain thirst for water, as they live in a time when to drink the water we take for granted is death, though it comes from faucets and rivers and lakes that once were fresh and clean and safe.

Opening Night Performance: Friday, November 14th at 8:00pm. The run continues Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 3pm through Saturday December 20th. (No show on Friday, Nov. 27th)

A Red Orchid Theatre's Incubator (an off & late night series dedicated to getting to know new and/or up-and-coming theatre artists in Chicago) presents A Night Out by Harold Pinter, directed by Dado. The production features 11 actors who are new to the AROT stage and runs Sunday and Monday nights August 31 - September 22 at 7:30pm at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells.

GRAFFITO, Soft Cage Films NFP's sophomore production, documents a revolutionary street graffiti artist in Chicago. As he wages a war of aesthetics against the capitalists, unexpected romance threatens to ruin the film. Shot primarily in the Logan Square, Avondale and Bucktown areas with local actors, crew and many iconic Chicago locations, GRAFFITO presents contemporary issues surrounding living and working as a radical artist in Chicago. The film was shot over the last 6 months and seeks to showcase a cross section of the vital and vibrant Chicago artistic community.
