BIO

Jessie Shelton is a Brooklyn based actor/singer known for 36 Questions: The Podcast Musical, in which she starred opposite Jonathan Groff. She was also one of Hadestown’s original Fates in its original off-broadway debut at NYTW, and reprised her role on Broadway from ’21-‘22. Other notable appearances include Dawn in Waitress (1st Nat’l tour), Lady Dare Bellingdon in Conflict (Mint Theater), and Cecile in Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical (Le Poisson Rouge). Film: Feast of the Epiphany. Podcast: Two-Up’s 36 Questions: The Podcast Musical, Shipworm, and Julian Koster’s Orbiting Human Circus of the Air. Ms. Shelton is represented by Wolf Talent Group. In August of 2023 she married her handsome-as-he-is-sweet husband Matthew Jacobs. They are proud parents to their equally sweet fur-baby Willow.
