Industry Lab Presentation of THE LAST FIVE YEARS Will Take Place This May

After Core Theatre Group's heralded February 2024 production of Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown's, The Last Five Years, they will present an Actors Equity Developmental Lab of their production May 7th through 10th at 2 pm at the Theatre at St. Clement's Main Stage for invited industry guests.

Last night, I was lucky enough to attend the opening night of Core Theatre Group’s (Hudson Valley’s newest theatre company), production of The Last Five Years, starring Season 6 winner of the The Voice Maelyn Jarmon and Clay Singer (The Band’s Visit).  This production, directed with honesty and inventiveness by Jessica McRoberts, one of the founding members of Core Theatre Group, was a breath of fresh air.

THE LAST FIVE YEARS will play Thursday, February 22nd through Sunday, February 25th, at The Drowned Lands (252 State School Road, Warwick, NY).

Warwick Institute of Culture presents a one night only special benefit performance: Broadway At The Wick located at The Wick Theatre in Mountain Lake Park, 46 Bowen Rd, Warwick, NY 10990 (former Kutz Camp) on Wednesday May 17th. Doors open at 6:30pm for raffles and refreshments, performance begins at 7:30pm.

Of the many great parts of the Broadway community and the performing arts community at large, perhaps the greatest is its ability to come together and provide support for one another.
