PARADE Extends Through July 9 at Writers Theatre
Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, adds a week of performances to the run of Parade, with book by Alfred Uhry and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, co-conceived by Harold Prince.
Prince Edward Island's Own Aaron Hastelow to Debut as Gilbert in The Charlottetown Festival
For the first time in the 52 seasons Anne of Green Gables-The Musical has run in Charlottetown, an Islander will play Anne's beau. The Charlottetown Festival has announced that Aaron Hastelow will debut as Gilbert this summer opposite P.E.I.'s Jessica Gallant as Anne. This also marks the first time two Island natives have held the storied production's romantic leads.

DOGFIGHT, the hauntingly beautiful musical by Pasek and Paul (Edges, James and the Giant Peach, A Christmas Story) and Peter Duchan, will receive it's Toronto debut in the form of a staged reading, December 1st and 2nd at TRANZAC (292 Brunswick Avenue), produced by Kelly Holiff and Jason Spetter.

A DANGEROUS NOTION has a book by Molly C. Blau with Ben Bartolone, music and lyrics by Paul Daniel Cloeter, and is directed by Nicco Franklin. WEAKER PEOPLE . . . A DANGEROUS NOTION will be performed at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Monday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m.
