BIO

Jessie was born in Jacksonville, Fl into a theatre family. Her father, Tod Booth, a successful director and producer, and mother, Lisa Valdini, a talented film and stage actress, were very supportive of Jessie's desire to follow in their artistic footsteps. Jessie started as a professional actress at the age of 8, in her father's production of A Christmas Carole as Tiny Tim. She fell in love with theatre and continued working doing two to three shows a year, as well as commercials and films, while attending a private school and maintaining a high GPA. Jessie went to Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, in Jacksonville, with a major in Acting then furthered her education at the University of Central Florida with a major in Musical Theatre and minor in Nonprofit Management. Jessie, having studied under the best teachers and been in over 40 Equity productions, cruise ships, concerts, films, and tv shows is now residing in New York City, excited to finally spend everyday pursuing her dreams.

Review: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Alhambra Theatre and Dining

Fiddler on the Roof premiered at Alhambra Theatre and Dining on August 4th, “ya ba diba diba diba diba diba diba dum!” The musical, which first premiered in 1964, takes place in Anatevka in 1905 just before the Russian Revolution. The musical is beautiful and a great experience for Jacksonville audiences.

LOVE LETTERS Comes to Alhambra

Having grown up in the Alhambra Theatre, Jessica Booth has played in just about every role from a child performer in Christmas Carole to leading lady as Jovi in Elfa??the Musical. Now she takes on an entirely new role, as Director of the acclaimed Broadway hit, Love Letters. To make it just a little more challenging (or perhaps interesting), Ms. Booth will be directing her parents, Lisa Valdini-Booth and Tod Booth. Mrs. Booth has been in more than 200 Alhambra performances and was once knowing widely as the a?oevoice of Winn-Dixie Supermarkets,a?? and Mr. Booth is the Alhambra's former owner and current Creative Director, himself having directed more than 200 shows at the iconic theater.
