Stage West is excited to announce the lineup for its 45th season!   The new season will feature six shows, one of which will be a co-production. Four will be presented in the Evelyn Wheeler Swenson Theatre (“The Evie”), with two in the Jerry Russell Theatre.. It’s a unique mix of 1 musical and 5 plays, which range from an intriguing drama to a delight-inducing comedy-mystery to a much-loved classic.

Stage West to Present Jen Silverman's WITCH

Would you sell your soul to the Devil to get something you really want? It's a simple question, but you might be surprised by your answer. Expect the unexpected in Jen Silverman’s clever fable, Witch. Inspired by William Rowley, Thomas Dekker and John Ford’s The Witch of Edmonton, the show will begin a 4-week regional premiere run on Thursday, March 17 in the Jerry Russell Theatre at Stage West.

Stage West To Rename Its Main Stage Space

Stage West announces the theatre's main stage space is being renamed the Jerry Russell Theatre, in honor of the organization's beloved founder and long-time leader, Jerry Russell.
Stage West Announces 40th Anniversary Gala

On February 27, 2019, Stage West will celebrate 40 years in Fort Worth with a gala at the Fort Worth Club's Horizon Room.  The event will begin at 6pm, and will be hosted by Honorary Chairs Drs. Janice Knebl and Thomas Fairchild and Event Chairs Mr. Jim and Councilwoman Ann Zadeh.

Georgia Clinton reprises her performance as the well-known Texas journalist Molly Ivins.

2 actors, 15 characters, unlimited entertainment. That's the short version of Irish playwright Marie Jones's Stones in His Pockets, beginning a 6-week run at Stage West on May 16.
Stage West to Open New Studio Space

Stage West has announced the opening of a second performance space. The new Stage West Studio Theatre is located within the space which houses the group's offices and rehearsal hall, at 823 W. Vickery Blvd., and is a three-sided thrust stage, with seating for 61 patrons. The additional performance space will allow Stage West to offer its audiences productions which might not fit into its regular season, and could also be of use in its educational programs.

Georg, the manager of Maraczek's Parfumerie, is carrying on a romance by mail with a woman he's never met. Amalia, a newly-hired clerk at Maraczek's, is similarly romantically involved. And they can't stand each other. Or so it seems. Do they actually have more in common than they suspect? That's at the heart of She Loves Me (book by Joe Masteroff, music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick), beginning its run (and the 34th Season) at Fort Worth's Stage West tonight, November 1.
