Today we rewind to 2012 for the off-Broadway revival of Bare. Featuring music by Damon Intrabartolo and book & lyrics by Jon Hartmere, the revival was directed by Stafford Arima, choreographed by Travis Wall and starred Jason Hite, Taylor Trensch, Elizabeth Judd, with Gerard Canonico, Jerold E. Solomon, Barrett Wilbert Weed and Missi Pyle.

Virginia Repertory Theatre should be applauded for its effort to produce new works in Richmond. If its critically-acclaimed productions of David L. Robbins' The End of War and last year's River Ditty were giant steps toward elevating the status of Central Virginia's premier regional theatre, then its unbaked 'developmental' production of Atlantis, produced in partnership with Greg Schaffert and Glass Half Full Productions, is something of a misstep.

Set in the south side of Chicago in 1950s, A RAISIN IN THE SUN begins when the Younger family receives ten thousand dollars following the death of the family patriarch. Though everyone in the family wants to use the money in order to better themselves, tensions brew when it becomes unclear how best to make that happen. A RAISIN IN THE SUN opened February 16th, and will run through March 11th.
