BIO

Jerielle studied Musical Theatre at Point Park Conservatory of Performing Arts in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to NYC after enjoying sea life aboard Royal Caribbean’s Voyage of the Seas (Krooze Komic/Singer). Here in the city she has been seen performing with companies including: Vital Theatre Company, The Gallery Players, Impetuous Theatre Group, & Theatre for a New City. Cabaret experiences include: Definite Possibilities… solo show at The Duplex and The Taffy Sisters at Don’t Tell Mama’s. Having found a theatre home away from home, Jerielle has enjoyed many a summer in upstate New York performing at The Theatre Barn and a few months in between at Cohoes Music Hall. Favorite experiences from all of the above include: The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Betty), The Drowsy Chaperone (Chaperone), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Muriel), Musical of Musicals (Abby), Johnny Guitar (Vienna), Violet (Old Lady/Hotel Singer), Urinetown (Pennywise), 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock), and Merrily We Roll Along (Ensemble). The work was created by Susan Rowan Masters as a book and later as a radio play. Masters took her work and adapted it for the stage for submission to The Growing Stage's 2013 New Play Reading Festival, in which she won. Performances of this tuner will run from today, July 31st - August 10th with evening performances at 7:30. Matinees are available on August 2nd, 6th, and 7th at 2:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org. The show is suitable for all ages and a wonderful way to introduce the younger generation to the classic music of the 1940's.
