BIO
Jens Rasmussen has created over 150 roles for theatre and film.
He's performed with The Working Theatre, New Dramatists, EPIC, PanAsian Rep, New Georges, Manhattan Theatre Source, HERE, The Internationalists, terraNOVA, and others in NYC.
In addition to having been a resident guest artist with companies in Florida, Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia, he’s performed across the country, from the Kennedy Center to Boise, receiving both an Acclaim Award and a League of Cincinnati Theatres Award for his work.
His performance in Stephen King’s SURVIVOR TYPE (a story, which Mr. King said, “goes a little too far, even for me.”) was called “rock solid” after it’s premiere at the Buried Alive Horror film festival.

The Drama League has just announced the 2021 Nominees and Special Recognition Honorees for The 87th Annual Drama League Awards. Keeping in the tradition of honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the theatrical community, as they have since 1935, this year the organization has established five unique categories to honor the extraordinary achievements of artists across the nation who created digital and socially-distanced theatrical productions during this challenging year of suspension for live arts.
