At long last, women playwrights take center stage at the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene. The Yiddish Women Playwrights Series, scheduled to proceed on June 21, 2022 with a FREE streamed production of Kadya Molodowsky's Ale Fentster Tsu der Zun (All Windows Face the Sun), highlights revolutionary, avant garde, feminist works from writers whose contributions to the Yiddish theatre have long been overlooked, ignored, and locked away.

Pratt Institute is set to present Between You and I, a festival showcasing five emerging artists from Pratt Institute’s MFA program in Performance and Performance Studies. Pratt Institute Announces Performance Studies MFA Thesis Festival
Pratt Institute's Performance and Performance Studies program is pleased to announce its annual MFA thesis festival showcasing work from the 13 members of the graduating class of 2019. The festival includes performance art, installation, moving image art, choreography, theater, ritual-based work, and social practice by MFA candidates. Great Small Works Presents MUNTERGANG AND OTHER CHEERFUL DOWNFALLS
Great Small Works revisits the work of radical 20th-century New York City puppeteers Zuni Maud and Yosl Cutler. In a bilingual Yiddish-English play that uses Maud and Cutler's satirical puppet scripts and original graphics, together with Great Small Works' own puppets and projections, as well as The Dybbuk and Mae West, Muntergang is a meditation on historical models for changing power relationships.
Folksbienne Theater Welcomes Hannuakh with KIDS & YIDDISH
To renew a cherished Hannukah tradition, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) will present 'Kids & Yiddish,' a musical theatrical funfest that teaches Yiddish to kids primarily through songs and song parodies. The show gleefully mixes Jewish folk traditions with popular culture and satirizes some of the latest fads on TV, all the while cleverly weaving in Yiddish words and phrases.
