Birmingham Hippodrome have announced that opera superstar Lesley Garrett will be playing the role of Mrs Pearce in Lerner & Loewe’s critically acclaimed My Fair Lady when it comes to the city next year (Wed 8 Mar – Sun 19 Mar 2023) .

Further venues have been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Bartlett Sher's critically acclaimed and multi award-winning production of Lerner & Loewe's much loved MY FAIR LADY. The sumptuous production will visit Sunderland Empire (1st - 11th February), Bristol Hippodrome (14th - 25th February), Birmingham Hippodrome (8th - 19th March) and finally Manchester Palace (22nd March - 1st April).

The company features Harry Hadden-Paton as Henry Higgins, Amara Okereke as Eliza Doolittle, Stephen K Amos as Alfred P Doolittle, Dame Vanessa Redgrave as Mrs Higgins, Malcolm Sinclair as Colonel Pickering, Maureen Beattie as Mrs Pearce, and Sharif Afifi as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.

Stephen K Amos will play the role of Alfred P. Doolittle. Stephen is a BAFTA award-winning comedian whose stage work includes My Night With Reg and One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest. Malcolm Sinclair will play the role of Colonel Pickering. Malcolm has performed in more than 50 theatrical productions and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 Olivier Awards for his performance in Pressure at The Ambassador's Theatre.

Louise Redknapp will re-join the cast of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL in the role of 'Violet Newstead' at the Savoy Theatre, London from 25 March until 29 June 2019. 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL opened in the West End last month, where Dolly Parton attended the premiere and joined the cast on stage at the finale. Over 180,000 new tickets are released for public sale today (10 September 2012) as Top Hat at the Aldwych Theatre extends its booking period to 28 September 2013. Seventy seven years after its movie release, Matthew White's production arrived in the West End earlier this year having completed a 20 week sell-out UK tour.
