The New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, America's preeminent professional Gilbert & Sullivan repertory company, kicks off its 41st season with the political fairytale IOLANTHE (this weekend, November 7 & 8) at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place). The seventh collaboration between Gilbert and Sullivan, IOLANTHE is certainly not politics as usual! The affairs of state in fairyland take center stage and the tasty tunes take wing along with the non-stop hilarity.

Chilina Kennedy, Jake Odmark & More Will Perform at This Week's Broadway in Bryant Park
Later this week, 106.7 LITE FM will continue its 15th annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2015 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on the Bryant Park Stage. This Thursday's line-up will include performances from the casts of SAYONARA (Jennifer Piacenti, Morgan McCann, Edward Tolve, Ya Han Chang), The Phantom of the Opera, Kinky Boots (Jake Odmark, Haven Burton, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Paul Canaan, Sean Patrick Doyle, Robert Pendilla), and BEAUTIFUL (Chilina Kennedy, E. Clayton Cornelious, Alan Wiggins, Douglas Lyons, Melvin Tunstall).
