On Monday, September 22, 2014, The Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 recipients at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center, 17 Lexington Avenue. DONKEY PUNCH Begins Previews Tonight Off-Broadway at SoHo Playhouse
After a critically acclaimed run in June, Ivy Theatre will transfer their production of Micheline Auger's DONKEY PUNCH to Off-Broadway. Directed by Audrey Alford, previews of this limited engagement begin tonight, July 25 at SoHo Playhouse. Opening night is slated for Thursday, July 31.

terraNOVA Reveals 2014 Groundbreakers Playwrights
terraNOVA Collective has announced the six talented playwrights selected, from a record-breaking number of submissions, for the 2014 Groundbreakers Playwrights Group, a unique playwriting intensive for these individuals to collaborate and cultivate work, meeting once a week for 18 weeks. The artists are ALEXANDRA COLLIER (We Play for the Gods), STEVE DiUBALDO (Coyote and the Origin of Death), SUKARI JONES (The River Is Me), BOO KILLEBREW (co-founder of CollaborationTown), JORDAN SEAVEY (co-Artistic Director CollaborationTown), and MFONISO UDOFIA (2013 Sundance Theatre Lab Resident Playwright and a 2013 Summer Yale Resident).
The Sister Rosettas Return to New Ohio Theatre, Now thru 12/14
After a sold-out run in September, The Sister Rosettas are back with five more performances. A revival of the rock/pop-punk/cabaret music of world touring MING DYNASTY, last seen on City Stages in 2009 alongside Diana Ross, Ben Harper, and Al Green, now brings new front woman Diana Oh and bassist/songwriter Philippe Arman to the stage. The story of how this new collaboration was formed fuses old songs and new and is led by veterans Eric Miranda, Kole Smith and Matt Harrington.

DEATH FOR SYDNEY BLACK is part of terraNOVA Rx, four exciting productions, including ANIMALS COMMIT SUICIDE by J. Julian Christopher, playing in repertory as part of their 11th Season. DEATH FOR SYDNEY BLACK will play a two week limited engagement from Sunday, December 1st through Sunday, December 15th, 2013 at IRT Theater (located in the Archive Building at 154 Christopher St, New York). terraNOVA Collective and Producing Artistic Director, Jennifer Conley Darling have announced the 11th Season promoting distinct and powerful voices. The Season will include World Premiere and New York Premiere productions and commences in September, at IRT Theater, with the launch of soloNOVA Arts presenting WILL WORK FOR, Dacyl Acevedo's one-woman tour-de-force which premiered in last season's soloNOVA Festival and SEXLESS IN THE BOROUGHS by Colleen O'Connor, a co-production with The Glass Eye led by Kyle Metzger and Jared Weber.
