An extension has been announced of the critically-acclaimed production of ASSEMBLE, created by David Blackman, Talya Chalef, and Jess Kaufman. ASSEMBLE, a self-guided socially distanced, solo experience will continue at a location in Brooklyn, to be revealed post-ticket purchase.

Nora's Playhouse (Caroline Reddick Lawson, Artistic Director) announced that it will present The Fallenby Yasmine Beverly Rana July 18 through 21, 2012 at the Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre for the Performing Arts at the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study (1 Washington Place at Broadway). Caroline Reddick Lawson (The War Zone is My Bed, Looking Glass Theatre; former Director of Education at New York Theatre Workshop) will direct the production.

This spring, the students in Site-Specific Directing at Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA) have staged theatre all over New York City: from Shakespeare in Central Park and on the High Line to Chekhov in the Russian and Turkish Baths to Sarah Kane on rooftops, libraries, and street corners. The directors concluded their class this week by fully producing eight new short plays by a group of incredible writers in and around the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.
