Axis Theatre Company to Present WORLDS FAIR INN
Following celebrated performances in June, Axis Theatre Company will present a remount of Worlds Fair Inn, an absurdist comedy written and directed by Randy Sharp. Worlds Fair Inn takes inspiration from the failures and genius of three men.
Axis Theatre Will Present WASHINGTON SQUARE, a New Adaptation of Henry James' Tragicomic Novella
Axis Theatre Company presents Washington Square, a contemporary take on Henry James' tragicomic novella. Adapted and directed by Axis Theatre's founder and Artistic Director Randy Sharp, the production features original music by Paul Carbonara, a cast of four, and is performed in the heart of Greenwich Village, a few blocks from the story's 19th-century setting. Previews for Washington Square begin on March 11 at Axis Theatre (1 Sheridan Square, Manhattan), with a press opening set for March 15, for a limited run through April 11, 2020. Tickets are on sale now at axiscompany.org.

Circle Theatre's 30th Anniversary Season continues with the Southwest premiere of Seven in One Blow, or The Brave Little Kid, an adapted children's play conceived and written by Randy Sharp and Axis Company. When Seven in One Blow first premiered in 2002, The New York Times wrote, 'As the brave little kid triumphs over an ogre, a witch, selfish royalty and a monster, the audience learns not to judge anything by its appearance, from parents to peas.' Circle Theatre's production officially opened Saturday evening, November 19 at 7:30pm.
