The Windsor Jesters Open RUN FOR YOUR WIFE Tonight

The Windsor Jesters Spring offering of their 63rd continuous season is Ray Cooney's hilarious British farce, 'Run For Your Wife'. Directed by Rosemarie Beskind of Simsbury, 'Run For Your Wife', tells the story of very ordinary taxi driver John Smith, played by Chris Bushey of Bloomfield, who just so happens to have two wives, two homes and two lives. John has successfully kept each wife, Helen Malinka of Glastonbury as Mary Smith and Tracy Arcari Weed of West Hartford as Barbara Smith, from finding out about the other one until he decides to help out an old woman who is getting mugged. The play proves the old adage that no good deed goes unpunished, as Mr. Smith is soon being investigated by two police detectives, Mark O'Donnell of Windsor as Det. Sgt. Troughton and Steve O'Brien of Simsbury as Det. Sgt. Porterhouse. Even though John is eagerly assisted by his upstairs neighbor Stanley Gardner, Bruce Larsen of Glastonbury, it looks like John's secret is going to come out.

The Windsor Jesters are getting ready for the opening night of "Run For Your Wife", Ray Cooney's hilarious British farce, on Friday May 16! "We are thrilled to be performing on Shad Derby weekend and Memorial Day weekend", says Chris Bushey, the group's President. "These are two very important events for the Town and we couldn't be happier to be a part of it all. Windsor is Connecticut's oldest town and the Windsor Jesters are Connecticut's oldest continuously performing community theater. It's great to be a part of such a rich history", he concluded.
