JEFF GARDNER was delighted with his most recent Broadway engagement where he served as a stand-by for Mandy Patinkin in THE WILD PARTY directed by George C. Wolfe. Last year Mr. Gardner was proud to have originated the role of Mercier in THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. Other Broadway Credits include: CYRANO THE MUSICAL, JEROME ROBBINS BROADWAY, THE QUEEN AND THE REBELS (with Colleen Dewhurst), and the National Tour of LES MISERABLES. In regional theatre he has played many of the great roles of the Musical Theatre repertoire, including Emil de Becque in SOUTH PACIFIC, Don Quixote in MAN OF LAMANCHA, El Gallo in THE FANTASTICKS, and Tevye in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Jeff is not only a performer but has been a producer as well, mounting, with his partner Mr. Robert W. Jones, the world premiere of the new comedy NIGHT OUT, starring Paul Provenza at the Theatre-in-Old-Town in San Diego. He was proud to be the original producer of GRUMPHY OLD MEN THE MUSICAL guiding it thru from page-to-stage culminating in the world premiere at the Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg.
