It was hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produced with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event. Jimmy Horan music directed what became a real musical happening!

They're all ripe for action as 12 mega-talented finalists vie for the top prize, and the chance to be this year's top tomato, at the 5th Annual "Tomatoes Got Talent" singers contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros. Composer Jimmy Horan Presents I CAN SING! To Benefit the NYC Gay Men's Chorus
'I Can Sing!' is an evening of original music by Jimmy Horan with special guests Corinna Sowers Adler and Stearns Matthews as well as members of the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. All proceeds from this performance will go directly to the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. The evening is produced in part by NiCori Studios & Productions.

On Tuesday, June 30, Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) dedicated at a special performance the new piano it donated to the Encore Community Services Center in the heart of the theater district. The purchase, made as part of SFYS' ongoing Piano Placement Project, was made possible by a grant from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

HAIRSPRAY Opens 8/17 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre
HAIRSPRAY, the most anticipated musical theatre event of the summer, comes to the stage of the Moonlight Amphitheatre as part of Moonlight Stage Productions' 31st Summer Season. HAIRSPRAY is the Broadway musical phenomenon that inspired a major motion picture and captured eight Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2003. Now, for the first time at Moonlight, audiences will be swept away to 1960s Baltimore in this smash-hit musical that's piled bouffant-high with comedy and music. Tickets are priced $22-$50 and are on sale now through the VisTix Ticket Office at (760) 724-2110 and online at moonlightstage.com.
