BWW Review: A LIE OF THE MIND Dazzles but Lacks Danger at Dirt Dogs Theatre
It might be that the directors were looking for something of 2019 in 1985's A LIE OF THE MIND. Malinda L. Beckham and Trevor Cone are certainly the best candidates in Houston to wrangle this one out since their company is noted for wildly masculine testosterone-fueled theater. They may have sought more of the humanity and less of the brutality that the original work seemed to have.

The creator of such American stage classics as A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hit Tin Roof, and The Glass Menagerie, Williams also published over seventy on-act plays. Theatre Southwest Presents WONDER OF THE WORLD, Opens 12/31
Theatre Southwest will present their production of David Lindsey-Abaire's play, WONDER OF THE WORLD, beginning December 31st with a special New Years Gala. The show will run through January 23rd. The cast for the production will include James Reed, Stacy A. Spaeth, Ananka Kohnitz, Cheryl Tanner, Brian Heaton, Jeanette Sebesta, and John Kaiser. The show is directed by David Holloway.
