John Erfurth Announces 'The Adventures Of The Buckaroo Dogs'
John Erfurth, was raised on a working ranch in Navarro California, Mendicino County. His ancestors, the Gschwends, started a ranch in Anderson Valley in 1859. John started liking the cowboy way of doing things by riding horses and calves, sheep, and anything he could get his rope around. He became interested in ranching and rodeo at a young age. His granddad was a good horseman and teacher. He is the one who taught
John how to handle a horse and cattle the cowboy's way. John moved to Santa Rosa, California in 1947 and kept his interest in rodeo. In 1958 he started participating in rodeo as a High School kid. He then went on to become a rodeo producer and livestock contractor in the '60s. He always had good cow dogs working with him and wanted to write stories about them. He started training racehorses in the '70s, then went on to motion picture business providing props for them. Now John has a radio broadcasting show called the 'Buckaroo Man Show.' John has recently completed his new book 'The Adventures of the Buckaroo Dogs': an engaging story of excitement and mischief on a farming ranch in Oregon.
