2018 Alley ALL NEW FESTIVAL Begins This Saturday
The Alley Theatre's Alley All New Festival, January 20-28, 2018, features six playwrights and more than 30 actors from the Alley and around the country who will be presenting new work through a series of readings and workshop performances. In addition to Alley Resident Company members, many artists have existing connections to the Alley and some are making their Alley debut. The start of the festival will celebrate the reopening of the Neuhaus Theatre. Spookfish Theatre Company to Present I WROTE ON UR WALL AND NOW I REGRET IT, 7/30-8/10
Spookfish Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of i wrote on ur wall and now i regret it by Ming Peiffer, July 30-August 10 at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street). The production will be directed by Kat Yen (Resident Director at The Flea Theater) and will feature Jaspal Binning, Ryan Dreyer, Karen Eilbacher, David M. Farrington, Ricky Faust, Andrea Goldman, Jordan Ho, Ying Ying Li, and Stephanie Regina. The creative team will include Lighting Design by Porsche McGovern and Sound Design by Daniela Hart. Assistant directed by Samuel Wilson.

Roots & Wings Theatrical's 6th Annual 'Duct Tape and A Dream Festival' Set for May
For the sixth installment of the Duct Tape and A Dream Festival, collaborative new works company Roots and Wings will showcase eight fresh premiers divided between two programs running in repertory May 15th-19th, 2013: A "Duct Tape" Program and a "Dream" Program. Both nightly programs are anchored by one longer piece and feature three shorter new works. The festival is truly eclectic including dance, clowning, devised theatre, a multi-media show, and new plays exploring a variety of subjects all written by emerging artists. The programs will play in rotation at the Bridge Theatre @ Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor.
