Theatre Memphis Announces 2021-22 Season
Theatre Memphis has announced its 2021-22 season after an abbreviated season in 2019 to accommodate renovations and having been closed for the 2020-21 season due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Theatre Memphis Casts 100th Anniversary Season Opener Online
Using a unique and newly conceived way to audition for stage productions due to the COVID-19 limitations on assembling, Theatre Memphis received audio and video submissions via the internet to select its cast for its opening musical, Hello, Dolly!, for its 100th anniversary season. The production is scheduled to open August 21, 2020, in a renovated and expanded facility at 630 Perkins Extended at Southern Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee.
Theatre Memphis Announces New Season
After an abbreviated season in 2019 to accommodate renovations and expansion to add larger public spaces, upgraded concession areas, accessible lobby adjustments and more restrooms facilities, Theatre Memphis will open August 21, 2020 to begin celebrating a century of entertaining the community featuring eleven productions between two stages The 100 year milestone is one that very few community theatres can claim as continuously performing for that period of time.

LITTLE WOMEN Returns to the Next Stage at Theatre Memphis
Little Women, adapted and directed by Jason Spitzer and based the on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, returns to the Next Stage at Theatre Memphis July 10 - 21, 2019, after a sold out production run in February 2019. The encore performances are part of the Theatre Memphis Summer Showcase productions and are not part of the season membership ticket package. Season members do get a discount on all full priced adult tickets, however.

DRACULA Come to Theatre Memphis
Dracula, the wild and shocking, blood-soaked adaption by William McNulty of the Bram Stoker classic horror tale, opens on the Lohrey Stage at Theatre Memphis and runs October 12-28, 2018. In this re-telling, Professor Van Helsing and his brave comrades hunt to destroy the profoundly evil Count Dracula. But the Count is exceedingly resourceful, employing superhuman strength, psychic powers, and shape-changing to confound his antagonists as an inevitable confrontation ensues.
