Green Space Presents Take Root with caitlin+dancers and Kristen Carcone

Green Space has announced a diverse roster of artists for its signature programs this February. Broadway Dance Lab Announces Full Summer Roster

Broadway Dance Lab (BDL), a non-profit arts service organization supporting new works of dance-driven theatre, has announced the launch of its 2018 Summer Cycle. Two-time Tony award nominee John Carrafa, Kristen Carcone, and Helen Simoneau have each received creation grants to experiment with the development of new work. The Cycle will run June 4-29.

Gaspard & Dancers' TRILOGY Set for Schimmel Center

On Friday and Saturday, September 25th and 26th, choreographer, Gaspard Louis will bring his company, Gaspard & Dancers to perform their Trilogy which pays tribute to the people of Haiti who endured the horrific 2010 earthquake that caused devastation to the island nation. “The Trilogy was my own personal response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake,” says choreographer and Artistic Director, Gaspard Louis.

October 27, 2014: knees and toes/NYs and TOs Edition 2014, presented by TOES for dance in collaboration with presenting sponsor mindyourmind*, will showcase a mixed program of contemporary dance by established and new generation choreographers from around the world, under the direction of David Norsworthy and Kristen Carcone. TOES for dance kickstarted the season on October 4th with, for the second year in a row, a sold out showing in New York City. The Ontario Touring Production begins November 8th and runs until November 16th with shows in Mississauga, Waterloo, Vaughan and Toronto, and features dance artists from New York City and Toronto.

The gala evening of dance artistry will feature outstanding NYCDA alumni, the choreography of NYCDA faculty and special guest performances from prominent professional dance companies all to benefit the NYCDAF College Scholarship Program. Last August at the closing of their Annual National Convention, Joe Lanteri, Executive Director of NYCDAF distributed an astounding $2.8 million in scholarships to promising young dancers.
