Schoolhouse Rock Live!, a pop culture phenomenon takes the stage at The Players Club of Swarthmore's Children's Series Aug. 10-18. Based on the hit Saturday morning cartoon series seen on ABC-TV throughout the '70s, '80s, and '90s, Schoolhouse Rock Live! teaches history, grammar, math, and more to a whole new generation. Academic subjects will never seem boring again when presented through megahits like Conjunction Junction, Just a Bill, Interplanet Janet or Three is a Magic Number. Directed by Jason Boyer, music director is Dan Matarazzo and choreographer is Caitlin Naylor.

"Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!" Players Club Of Swarthmore Presents REALLY ROSIE Next Month

The Players Club of Swarthmore's Children's Series presents Really Rosie, the genius collaboration from the writers of Maurice Sendak and Carole King. In this upbeat and imaginative musical, Rosie, the self-proclaimed sassiest kid on the block, entertains her friends by producing an imaginary movie based on the exciting, dramatic, funny (and slightly exaggerated) story of her life. Directed by Nikki Torchon, Really Rosie plays March 3 at 5pm, March 4 at 11am and 3pm, March 10 at 5pm and March 11 at 11am and 3pm at 614 Fairview Ave., Swarthmore. The Players Club of Swarthmore opens its eighth 2017-18 Children's Theater Series with the Stephen Schwartz musical Captain Louie Oct. 7 and 14 at 5 p.m. and Oct. 8 and 15 at 11 a.m..
