Broadway Credits: Grease (Rizzo), Anything Goes, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. First National Tour: Anne in If/Then, Mary Barrie in Finding Neverland, and Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein (in which Mel Brooks gave Janine a shout out in an interview: “Janine... blows the roof off when she sings!”).
Television/Film: The Americans, Elementary, The Deuce (Amy Goldman), Hear My Song (feature film in which Janine played opposite Dustin Hoffman and Josh Lucas), This is the Moment (PBS special opposite Irish Tenor, Paul Byrom), Gravesend (Amazon Prime), and upcoming Ray James (Apple TV)
Janine has played leading roles at Tony Award winning regional theatres all over the country. These roles include: Eva Peron in Evita (JET), Nancy in Oliver! (Walnut Street Theatre, Barrymore Award Nom.), Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County (Theatre Raleigh), Terri in Sophisticated Ladies (Arena Stage), and Young Little Edie in Grey Gardens (PCT).
Her concert work spans the globe: International Tour of Broadway Rox, Edmonton Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden (National Anthem), Joe’s Pub with Melissa Etheridge and Free Style Love Supreme, and two solo shows: #LIT: Modern Broad and Blonde Ammunition at 54 Below in NYC.
She is currently in development of the screenplay she co-wrote, “Sisters Before Misters,” a family-centered romantic comedy feature film (directed by “Back to the Future’s” Lea Thompson) with Dolphin Entertainment.
