Adelaide Baroque Returns In 2023 With New Impetus
Australia's oldest early-music ensemble, Adelaide Baroque, returns with new impetus in 2023 with a four concert Orchestral Series and a five concert Explorations Series, before finishing the year with their first full performance of Handel's Messiah, in collaboration with Anthony Hunt and the choir of St Peter's Cathedral, in what will be a first performance of the Messiah on historical instruments in Adelaide.
GHOST THE MUSICAL Opens July 31 at Peninsula Players Theatre
Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County's theatrical icon, is announcing the opening of “Ghost The Musical” by Bruce Joel Rubin, Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame) and Glen Ballard. This timeless musical fantasy about the power of love performs July 31 to August 18 and is based on the Academy Award-winning film by Bruce Joel Rubin.

It is a compelling, two-time Tony Award-winning musical now on stage at Peninsula Players through August 13. "The Bridges of Madison County" is the touching story of Francesca, a lovely Italian woman who married an American soldier to flee war-ravaged Italy. She is looking forward to a rare four days alone on her Iowa farm as her family heads to the 1965 Indiana State Fair when ruggedly handsome, National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid pulls into her driveway seeking directions. What happens in those next four days may very well alter the course of Francesca's life.
