The American Theatre Wing (Heather Hitchens, President) is pleased to announce that five theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 2017 Awards in a luncheon ceremony on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

Steppenwolf Adds One Week of Performances to STRAIGHT WHITE MEN
By popular demand, Steppenwolf Theatre Company extends its critically acclaimed Chicago premiere production of Straight White Men written and directed by Young Jean Lee. Hailed as "fascinating and hugely arresting" (Chicago Tribune, 3 ½ out of 4 stars) and "intriguing and entertaining" (Time Out Chicago), the production continues for seven additional performances, through March 26, 2017. Tickets ($20 - $89) to the additional performances of Straight White Men are now on sale through Audience Services (1650 N Halsted), at 312-335-1650 or steppenwolf.org.

The Public Theater announced a one-week extension for the acclaimed STRAIGHT WHITE MEN, a new play written and directed by OBIE winner Young Jean Lee. A co-production with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, STRAIGHT WHITE MEN began previews on Friday, November 7 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 7.
