Broadway Production of ROOM Has Been Postponed Indefinitely
The previously announced Broadway production of ROOM, which was set to begin previews in just a few weeks, has been postponed indefinitely. The reason for the postponement, according to a press release, is 'due to a shortfall in capitalization and following the withdrawal of a Lead Producer.'
Adrienne Warren Will Lead ROOM on Broadway This Spring
Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren is headed back to Broadway to lead the American premiere of ROOM, written and adapted for the stage by Emma Donoghue, based on her 2010 best-selling novel which she also adapted into the award-winning 2015 film.
StageCon Postponed Until 2019
The organisers of StageCon, the UK's first convention for theatre fans throughout the UK and Europe, have announced they are postponing the event until 2019, passing control to United Theatrical as Producer and General Manager. StageCon was originally planned to run over the weekend of 3 & 4 November at Shoreditch Town Hall in London.

Picture Perfect: A New Musical, a contemporary song-cycle musical that explores love and relationships using the songs of award-winning American composer Scott Evan Davis, conceived and directed by Simon Greiff, will get its London premiere at the St James Studio with four performances on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June. Appearing at the St. James Theatre, Andrew will be joined by performers from Broadway, the West End and further afield as he takes the audience on a journey through his life and career as a writer and composer.
