Denise La Grassa Quartet is Coming to Buddy Guy's Legends With Free Show
Critically-acclaimed Chicagoland singer, songwriter and keyboardist Denise La Grassa will perform her music with her quartet of John Kregor (guitar), Kurt Shelby (bass) and James Sims (drums), at Buddy Guy's Legends, the world's premiere blues club, to commemorate Women's History Month. La Grassa released her first live CD Rockin' in the Castle Theater in September 2019 to join her other jazz CDs, April Dreams and The Blues Ain't a Color, the soundtrack to her one woman show of the same name. Boston's Newest Performing Arts Company Announces Their Debut Production
The Rainbow Connection Performing Arts Company is excited to announce their first production: 'The Dark I Know Well: A Musical Revue.' This production is a musical revue featuring songs from musicals such as 'Jekyll and Hyde,' 'Ragtime,' 'Spring Awakening,' 'SideShow,' and many more. This revue will cover heavy hitting subjects such as teenage pregnancy, love, breakups, sexual assault, murder, self doubt, and ends with a shining ray of hope for the future.

Everyone's favorite cat-lovin', pinot grigio-drinkin', absent-minded Narrator, Elizabeth Battey graces the stage once more to give you the greatest love story ever told. But she's in big trouble, gang! Christine Daae has died and is buried in the back of the discotheque. All Battey is left with is a mannequin dressed as Sarah Brightman and hopes that you, the faithful audience, will sing that famous soprano's part! All drag, part sing-a-long, a mix of Donna Summers and Bee Gees, and Boston Drag-Star Neon Calypso in rollerskates, The Phantom of the Disco promises to be Hot Stuff.
