Paul Harvard's GHBOY Now Available To Stream Online
James Quaife Productions today announces that the world première production of Paul Harvard's debut play GHBoy is now available to stream online via Vimeo on Demand. Filmed on 15 December 2020, the day before a lockdown cut short the production's run at Charing Cross Theatre, the recorded version will be available from 1 March.

Rescheduled Dates Announced for World Premiere of Paul Harvard's GHBoy
Due to England entering lockdown beginning Thursday, November 5, the world première of Paul Harvard's debut play GHBoy at the Charing Cross Theatre will open tomorrow, with two sold out performances running on 4 November as scheduled. It will then reopen on 5 December, with previews from 3 December, and running until 20 December 2020.
Samuel Bailey's SHOOK Transfers To The West End
Papatango and James Quaife Productions today announce the West End transfer of Papatango's original production of Samuel Bailey's critically acclaimed Shook a?' 2019's winner of the annual Papatango New Writing Prize. The production opens at the Trafalgar Studios on 14 April, with previews from 8 April, and runs until 9 May, marking Papatango's first West End transfer. Artistic Director George Turvey reunites the company from the acclaimed debut run at Southwark Playhouse and on tour in 2019 - Josef Davies (Jonjo), Josh Finan (Cain), Andrea Hall (Grace) and Ivan Oyik (Riyad). The production was nominated for seven Off West End Awards (Best Production, Best New Play, Most Promising Playwright, Best Performance Ensemble, Best Director, Best Set and Best Sound); and is currently a finalist for Best Production and Most Promising Playwright Awards.

At an event today at Shoreditch Town Hall, Papatango announced that Samuel Bailey has won the 11th annual Papatango New Writing Prize for his debut full-length play, Shook, from a record 1,406 entries. Also announced today were the shortlisted writers - Emma Anderson for The Lesson; Steven Bloomer for Bricolage; Tabitha Mortiboy for Daffy Grod and the Shaking Lights, and Joel Tan for Love in the Time of the Ancients. Each of these writers received a showcase reading alongside Shook at today's event for industry attendees.

Yesterday UK Theatre gave out awards to leading talents in performing, producing and theatre management throughout the United Kingdom. Sheffield Theatres' SHOW BOAT and FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS together took Best Musical Production, while Clare Burt picked up a performance award for the former and Rebecca Trehearn for the latter. Charlene James won Best New Play for CUTTIN' IT, and Paapa Essiedu Best Performance In A Play for the Royal Shakespeare Company's HAMLET.
English Touring Theatre & Stage One Announce New Apprenticeship
English Touring Theatre and Stage One, a charity dedicated to supporting the next generation of theatre producers, today announce a new scheme that will see an aspiring producer join English Touring Theatre for an 18 month apprenticeship. The successful candidate will work with the senior management and play an important role within English Touring Theatre's production and touring operation.
