BIO

A proud dad of 2, James Lewis was most recently seen in Lifeline Theatre’s critically acclaimed production of Native Son, portraying The Black Rat. He was nominated for Broadwayworld Chicago Best Performer in a play and nominated for Chicago Reader’s Best Stage Actor of 2024. Was also most recently seen as “Director” in Invictus Theatre’s Network. Other Theatre Credits include: The Secret Council (Sam) at First Folio Theatre, The Last Pair of Earlies (Wayland Early u/s) at Raven Theatre, Titus Andronicus (Martius) at Haven Theatre, Camino Real (Kilroy) at Connelly Theatre (NYC) among others. TV Roles include: True Blood, 2 Broke Girls and Brooklyn 99. An alumni of The Theatre School at DePaul University, he is represented by Stewart Talent. @prodigenoir
