BIO

James Backway was born on the 26th January in Croydon, London. He trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.



His stage credits include playing Albert Narracott in the National Theatre's acclaimed production of War Horse by Michael Morpurgo at the New London Theatre in London's West End, Stanley Yelnats in the UK Tour of Holes, Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest at The Anthony Hopkins Theatre, The Sound of Music at The London Palladium, and playing Lucentio in William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew at the world famous Globe Theatre in London.
