Jake Green

Jake Green is a Los Angeles based actor and comedian. Born and raised in San Jose, CA, Green grew up playing ice hockey and, after high school, went on to play junior league hockey in Canada. Injuries cut his athletic career short, however, so Green turned his full attention to acting, training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and earning his B.F.A. from Boston University's School of Theatre. Green moved to New York, first appearing opposite André De Shields and Reg E. Cathey in CATO at The Flea Theater. Over the years, Green continued to earn glowing reviews in multiple productions both Off-Broadway and regionally, perhaps most noticeably for his comedic turn as the quirky, often-flogged messenger to Kate Mulgrew's Cleopatra in Hartford Stage's production of ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA.

Green is also an accomplished comedian, performing stand-up at clubs across the country, improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, and sketch at the iO West Theater. Green was named a finalist in New York's Funniest Young Comedian Competition, and his sketch team won 1st Place in the 2014 LA Improv Comedy Festival.
